Got an RS200 at the moment, thinking of upgrading to a B14/RS800/59er soon though.
I was out sailing in a load of these last year.. Must admit that although the RS's are bloody quick I found them cluttered in comparison to the NN'er range. The 'er's seemed to be more focused on the abilities of the sailor while the RS's seemed to be more favoured towards the fidlers / tuners. Both fairly equally fast.

Just my 2p.
Tis a fair comment, i'm quite skilled at sailing (if I do say so myself hehe) but I find it difficult sometimes to set the sails and make the right adjustments. Although generally downhaul is forgotten about until it howls, and the outhaul is usually quite obvious to set up.
I find setting rig tension/mast rake and deciding how much kicker to use difficult sometimes, although got it all right last weekend and we were flying! biggrin

I borrowed a friends B14 a few weeks ago and just jumped in and off we went didn't worry about any of the settings too much and it was rapid, same with the 49er I had a play on.

I'm loathed to sell the 200 though as i've yet to sail a boat I like as much.

Playtime II, 1967 Huntsman 28, had her for nearly five years, first year I gave up work to rebuild her, it took ten months (and about 3 years to recover financially!!)

now THAT is devotion ....

Always loved the Fairy Huntsman and Swordsman boats.

Did my A levels just up the road from the old Supermarine factory and spent most summer weekends of my yoof knocking about on boats out of Hamble Point, Port Hamble and Mercury back in the 70's and 80's.

My Dad had an old Profile 33 (significantly before digital pictures) that was built in the yard the other side of bridge road from Moody's

Happy days.

I got an email from my colleague in Palma yesterday with details of a 1966 Huntsman 28 which was 'completely' rebuilt in 2005 including new Yanmars... a snip at Euro180k

I've got a couple of Swordsmans knocking about on the books and if you really want to push the boat out (pardon the pun), howabout a Solent Spear? (sat in my office looking across our marina at the demo-boat which is on our books)

This is the family dinghy - don't get to sail as much as I'd like to these days but I live in hope of free time!
