I took a sunseeker style power boat out for a spin with a few mates last week.
This craft was apparently getting on for 3/4 of a million sterling. Bit of a joke really when you look at how it's made - a huge plastic bath tub filled with tat - exposed bolt threads, chemical toilet, rover-esq fake plastic wood dash, diesel lorry engines, etc.
They clearly spend far more marketing than manufacturing them. To part with this much cash their owners are clearly 'nice but dim' types. The boat yards must be making an absolute fortune punting these on. Each sale is like a lottery win. I'm in the wrong game
OK, so were saying Sunseeker have TVR Build quality then ? This craft was apparently getting on for 3/4 of a million sterling. Couldnt agree more though ... More a Princess / Marine Dynamics fan myself
tbh there's a lot of similarity between TVR's & powerboats.
- made from FRP
- make a great noise
- drink lots of fuel
- They often leak
- upkeep can cost
- electrics can be dodgy
the list goes on........

www.cigaretteracing.com have a look. like i said we a dealer for the uk and the finish is just WOW! Real POWER boats! like i said there will be a new website up v soon where you can put your name down for our event. it would be great to have some ph peps there. also have our other boats there to.
Just a point to note for you and your web bods, but many business websense filters will block that website because of the "cigarette" in there.(seems to be here for me and a few consultants from thier MNC's too)
Perhaps worth getting a second domain name pointing to the same content (fastboats.com or something similar? ), otherwise the city boys wont be able to perruse your wares come bonus time again

howzabout one of these:-
http://www.apreamare.it/maestroeu.php
or even one of these:-
http://www.apreamare.it/modellieu.php?id=6
one of the best established boat builders in Italy and owned by the Ferretti Group who also own Riva...
If anyone fancies one, give me a shout as I know the UK agent very well indeed (me).
I've also got a very nice 1965 Riva Superaquarama (hull no.99) listed via my S.of.France office which can be snapped up for approx Euro 230,000.... A bargain!

Lovely boats - had a good look round em at the 04 miami boat show.
Not so keen on the older flat deck boats, but the newer "euro styled" ones are lovely.
