Slightly off XH558 however its Vulcan related.
Watching Thunderball which has had some fairly good in flight & interior cockpit shots of a Vulcan which were good too see.
Ignoring the silly but perfect 'pancake' landing on the sea, which Vulcan did they use for the inflight shots? It looked like XH506 but i couldnt be sure.

few more bits on the Thunderball Vulcans here http://www.urbanghostsmedia.com/2012/06/rare-photo...
IIRC David Walton at Bruntingthorpe has one of the small Vulcan models used for filming (painted up as XH558).

Thank you. I did listen out for the Vulcan howl on the take off sequence but it wasnt too be heard.
XA913 and XH506 were B1A models and had Olympus 104 engines. Only the Olympus 200 series engined Vulcans have the distinctive loud howl (as with XH558) at full throttle although of course it's not the engines that create the sound it's from air in the intake resonating that is specific to the 200 series. But then of course they might not have been a full throttle take off or edited sound for the film.
