She took off from Farnborough at 1.45pm.

Looked and sounded amazing as always.

Another gratuitous shot. Of the planes at the show, this one is taking up the most space on my hard drive.

I did have a long lens on it (taking into account crop factor) and fortunate with our seating.

Loads of photos from Farnborough at the weekend, including plenty of XH558 smile

I shed a tear watching her land on Sunday, it might be the last time we see her fly at a Farnborough air show.

A chap from Farnborough was just on the local news saying he is working on her being at Farnborough permanently when she retires

Quite a good display at Farnborough yesterday, a bit sad it was very likely it's last appearance there though. frown

Very good.

I thought she was being flung about with a bit more gusto than I've seen before.

I must admit, I watched the first validation routine last Friday 11th, and when the pilot took her on the fly past towards Church Crookham, then cranked on the power and pulled her back to vertical, I thought he had overcooked it!

No Problem. Some more. Loads more flying as well but pretty much on the theme of others.

last night while surfing youtube I found 'Britains cold war jets'

Part 2 is all about V bombers, they had the footage of the Vulcan doing its first display at farnborough. 50ft (or lower!) down the runway and then the famous barrel roll! Was very nostalgic and if you havent seen it i'd recommend!
