Isn't it, wasn't it supposed to fly over Evesham ttoday at 3.40. I've just got down the pub and the locals are all outside the pub still waiting.
Maybe it's been called back to active service or something cause it ain't gone over yet by all accounts!
558 flew in from Stratford direct to Throckmorton after circling around for a while. I was in McDonalds on the A46 when she flew overhead at 1200 feet just before 3pm which was the scheduled display time.Maybe it's been called back to active service or something cause it ain't gone over yet by all accounts!
A magnificent sight.

What I can't understand though is my mate took his 4 year old down the park to watch and were there from around 2 until 5PM and said it didn't flyover the park.

To keep her flying would cost a large sum of money, aside from sharp intakes of breath and chin rubbing, have any actual figures been released as to what this cost would be ?
The necessary equipment and components are simply not available, for any price. If Rolls Royce were willing to consider tooling up for new engines it might be possible to estimate the cost to within a few million.Dr Jekyll said:

It's not money this time. Under CAA rules they need experts to back them, ie RR for the engines. IIRC they need three 'experts' & two of them have said they aren't doing it anymore.Feirny said:
