Makes u wonder why they publish a provisional route, only to then tear it up?
An inspired bit of PR - not. The 'provisional route' idea was the work of idiots. They're certainly reaping the whirlwind in the Welsh press today for it.

if the key locations have any sense they will open fields for parking at those locations. Hopefully that is why details are delayed whilst arrangements are made.
Ive been doing a bit of digging in the South West. I've heard back from Cardiff and Bristol Airport, no plans and have just said normal viewing points, which is barely more than two country lanes for Bristol.

Gloucestershire Airport are arranging dedicated parking/viewing, not heard from Old Sarum yet.

The commercial airport waypoints are baffling to me, some of the least accessible / inconvenient private places in the country for large numbers to gather at. Would large public parks not have been a viable option given these are just fly pasts? The Red Arrows managed that for Armed Forces Day a few years ago.

South West has been ignored as well I see. Seems a shame.

Looks like it's Bicester for me, but I bet it'll be a nightmare getting anywhere near the airfield.
Same here - but I wouldn't head to the airfield cos you won't see much (trees/houses will block view) - I'll be sat on Brill hill which has a great panoramic view of Bicester and the turning point marked on the map.

I now see it will fly past East Fortune. Museum of flight.

They are supposed to be putting timings up on the maps, but I reckon it might just be possible looking at the distance '558 will be covering out west.

I doubt it - christ... you'd have to be going some to get there in time.

The VTTS website says with ‘other flights to be announced.’
This may be a way of reducing the final landing excitement, or,,,,,,, there may be other flights?
Does anyone have any facts or hearsay on flights after this weekend?

They've mentioned 'at least two' flights after these on a number of occassions.

Put me down as another gutted it won't be near me, I was hoping it would go via Duxford (or even Shuttleworth) between North Weald and Rutland Water, but it doesn't look like it's going to!

As a Brill resident I think you'll see nothing from Brill Hill. You'll need to be on Muswell Hill looking down towards Bicester to see her pass below you over Paddington before turning north. That maybe what you meant but would hate to see you miss out. Gutted as we are away this weekend.

Thumper due to air test on Monday and complete a few more flights "at key locations" before the end of the year so an Avro/Avro flypast is increasingly possible.
