Lucky you, hundreds of people were waiting under the flightpath near Chesterfield but the tour was ended after Heanor so XH558 could join the helicopter photo shoot that was obviously considered more important than the fans - a real slap in the face for those who have supported the project for years.
Me too. Was waiting on the hill at Middle Handley with lots of others. Still, got chatting to a chap with a Merc S280 so enjoyed some fresh air!

Aye - waiting at the Mosborough turning point with plenty of notice. No show. Lots of sad faces. Filming is apparently more important.

Some kind of explanation would have been nice (I accept changes may have to happen), but instead they're just asking for more cash....

Saw it at Manchester Airport earlier. Managed to get alongside the 2nd runway down the lanes around Mobberley. Plenty of people out there to see it, was brilliant to see it again and probably for the last time for me.

It did. Hundreds if not thousands of people there too, it appeared in the distance then turned away towards Derby. That's two weeks on the trot I've wasted my time as it deviated from it's route. Very poor. EMA had held a Jet2 flight back, and it had clearance, so no excuse. mad

Drove past the road that runs past the end of the runway at Doncaster at 1.20 or so. No signs of road closure, no signs of police to close the road, and no signs of huge traffic jams.....

Yep, Jet2 flight sat just off the end of the runway for at least 15 minutes, nothing else around. Vulcan incoming then turned and cleared off to Derby. 1000's of people left waiting for a loop round which never happened. Poor show.

Cannot find any info for our local one, have to wing it and see in the morning. Drove by today and not much in the way of parking on the roads nearby. Apart from on the roads.....

Wonder if local plod are aware.

1/2 Thank you everyone who tweeted us re the Vulcan flyover. Due to safety reasons with another aircraft, it couldn't take the planned route

I hope there aren't more disappointed people tomorrow with late changes for yet another photo shoot.
Why is everything so last minute when the routes must have taken careful planning?

Wellesbourne sound prepared on Twitter (do I go?).
I have family going to North Weald to watch.
Turning point at Southend instead of Tilbury would have been a nice farewell to the one there (although they have had at least one pass this year).

I am sad it is avoiding the middle of the south (passes over large towns without busy airports would have been nice, yes that's me in Milton Keynes, we never get the Vulcan). I did see the display last week at Gaydon, so not a complete sulk.

Impressed by the flypast at Newcastle Airport today. Couldn't find her on Flightradar, so was checking their twitter feed, when she arrived on the horizon, with a big smoke trail behind. Circled the airport and then left heading North to Scotland, almost directly over the lane I was stood in.

Some crap distant shots of her over her birthplace at the former Avro/BAC/BAe Woodford site... (mostly rubble now in preparation for new housing):

Running in over the airfield... (there's another Vulcan hiding down there out of sight...)

Turning near Lyme Park...

And running through over Woodford for the last time. Ever.

Joined hundreds of others at EMA who saw this black dot trailling smoke turn away and head north. Shame
To be fair to VTTS. She was refused permission to fly over EMA by air traffic control. Hardly the fault of VTTS when ATC gave the go ahead yesterday & then changed their minds today.

Knobs.

With good reason it seems. Why the Vulcan couldn't hold back then flypast one cleared??
