It was brilliant to see. I'm in Duston and seemed to fly over my house three times in a circuit.
Wish I still lived there. You have had more than your fair share of passes this year. :-p

I can't see it being beyond the next few weeks....as weather issues will start to come into play, as VFR and diminishing light as the clocks go back at end of month as well.

My suspicion is that the final flight won't be 'announced' beforehand, or not until an hour or so beforehand because of the issues with not wanting to jam the local roads as already mentioned before last weekend.

On the radio they were saying the cut off is due to the technology knowledge from the supporting partners not being there anymore for it to be given air worthiness certificate... so I imagine that whoever is supporting it from an engineering basis is stopping that support - anyone know anymore details on that?

So from that I am guessing they are good for the rest of the year.

Does anyone know if it will be making a visit/flypast to RAF Northolt or anywhere remotely near? Really want to see it and the only other time I did was when it was flying around over the skies of Cranfield Airfield last year.

Not a hope of that.

Nearest it came was when it overflew RAFM Hendon back in June/July time...or should have gone down to Farnborough or Bicester areas or even North Weald last Sunday.

That's a cracking shot smile

Would love one like that to have blown up and framed for the office wall

Luck really, was based up at the FAST Museum and it was apparently a last minute decision to do the flypast the full length of the runway.

Winners of a raffle held to fly next to her in a Spitfire or Extra 300.

Her last flight is to be live streamed on YouTube too.
