Two of my favourite photos that I've taken of her, both at Weston Super Mare 2015. Rest easy, old girl.

I think the mods should close this thread, but not just yet. maybe tell us they will close it sometime in the near future, but only give us short notice before they close it, so most of us wont know until its too late.

But... but.... don't you know that XH558 has an exciting future ahead as centrepiece of an aviation academy...?

Today's effort was a bit low key (as expected)to say the least, but I'm glad I was there ... best display I've seen at DSA was last year's at the end of the 2014 display season

My last fleeting view of XH558 in the air - 11/10/2015 Bicester

This is how I'll remember the mighty delta.

Can't say I'm as interested to go and see her in a hangar near Doncaster.

Who's for "VC10/Nimrod/Shackleton to the Skies"?

My last view of XH558 was at Wellesbourne for the southern farewell flight a couple of weeks ago. What a shame it had to end but I feel fortunate to have seen her fly

Not the greatest video but never mind. http://youtu.be/y7XiGPlrIr8

Perhaps the worlds first jet airliner might be good one.

I know someone that has inspected the spars on '607 and the word used was 'astonishing' in relation to the extent of the intergranular corrosion.
