This lovely lady has still got it! I thought it was inverted but I have been told it's a wing over, what is the difference?

I think they pull up to keep positive G so it's still flying 'normally', hence wing over rather than inverted.

Anyone know if it's parking up anywhere down here (Hampshire area) for the weekend? Seem to remember it stayed overnight at Southampton a year or two ago, and would love to go and see it take-off if it's nearby.

4ish is the best information I can give you. HTH.

If you look at their Twitter in the morning it will show the display time.

Our social media feeds will give you the latest timings as soon as we know them from the crew of the day. For now, do expect a takeoff from Doncaster at around 3pm and the display at Bournemouth to be about 4pm, then Shoreham at 4.30pm. (All times subject to change and operational conditions).

So if I'm hoping to see a fly past at Portsmouth it should be around 4.20ish?

Follow the social media and you'll be told everything from crew in to what engine has started and what the pilots had for breakfast. Followed by a request for more money. laugh however there is a good app you can get with the vulcan tracker.

Ta, that's close enough info for my needs. Will likely miss it then frown

I'm an old git so don't do all that social media stuff - it might as well be witchcraft to me.

Watched the take off today and it was very gradual increase in power used more runway than usual and no howl. Still a awesome sight and sound though.

Looking after the engines i suspect.

They said earlier this year they were looking to save the engines and would be doing this.
