Yeah, we tried to get onto the track but they'd shut it then. Took our disco and used it as a mobile viewing platform in the tyre store. Was really impressed how many people turned up.
What a fantastic noise, I've seen it before but this was really mega. Glad we went (should have been in Whitley..!)

Most XH558 aircrew are serving airline pilots as their day jobs. I think they'd care a great deal if the CAA revoked their licences.

I only have a basic lens and no processing software or anything so these are not the best, but they do represent the completion of a successful mission for me as I've been trying to see 558 fly for a few years now.
