Have just read on the Vulcan website that only 11 years separates the first flights of the Lancaster and the Vulcan. That's incredible progress!

Looking forward to seeing it on Sunday

Only 33 years separate the Wright Flyer and the Spitfire. The pace of progress was astonishing.

One. K5054 flew three and a half years before WW2 started.

As a Brill resident I think you'll see nothing from Brill Hill. You'll need to be on Muswell Hill looking down towards Bicester to see her pass below you over Paddington before turning north. That maybe what you meant but would hate to see you miss out. Gutted as we are away this weekend.
Yes - that's what I meant.
I was actually going to park on the B4011 at the X roads at the bottom of what eventually becomes Windmill Street - nice panoramic view there.

Looks like a trip to Dunsfold for me or risk trying to see it somewhere along the A272 if the advertised flight path is correct.
I assume Dunsfold has no public access normally, unless they are going to let people in the rear entrance like Wings and Wheels?

No, they aren't:

Regrettably we do not have the necessary arrangements and permissions in place to accommodate the public on site on Sunday. The Aerodrome will therefore unfortunately be closed to the public on Sunday.

Such an odd situation, I guess most will be hoping the flight paths are pretty accurate and will just be chancing seeing it pass over, rather than try to access an inaccessible waypoint?

Of the 6 waypoints within a few hours of me only Gloucestershire Airport are arranging anything (extra parking).

I was just planning on parking up outside, either on the A281 or in Dunsfold village. Or I might take a trip along the A272 as it will be overflying.

Wonder if I find somewhere to park up near Lutterworth I'll be able to get a decent view.

Anyone know if Bruntingthorpe is open/accommodating people on Sunday?

The A59 between Menwith Hill and Barnoldswick is going to be busy!
Menwith Hall first, then Barnoldswick.

80 minutes flying time for 588 between these two points
About 40 minutes drive time between these two points

So good chance to see her twice
