Went through to see her in Edinburgh today didn't take any pictures as I've seen her enough from a camera lense over the years so wanted to watch her as it's the last time.

Then came home to a delivery from VTTS , piece of blade from when the bags went into the engines back in 2012

1/2 Thank you everyone who tweeted us re the Vulcan flyover. Due to safety reasons with another aircraft, it couldn't take the planned route
6:39pm - 10 Oct 15

With good reason it seems. Why the Vulcan couldn't hold back then flypast one cleared??
Hmm... confused

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vf7vUbPdGF0

Vulcan - "...be advised we are turning north...before...not going to be able to overfly the airfield" ATC - Ok, so you just...depart then northbound yeah?" Vulcan - "Affirmative, because of our fuel considerations" ATC - "Thats understood"

RWC match in Cardiff today so I think the airport is a bit chancy for a good view. St Athan it is.

Here's my video from Windermere;

http://youtu.be/lLdEPdGLbSE

The highlight was actually when she appeared over Ambleside and banked over to line up with the lake, I bet she took a few of the Japanese tourists by surprise!

I'd say the southern side or the dam wall. We're heading off shortly with a picnic, it's the only way I could wing it with the OH smile

She's coming over my house but I'm not sure whether to cycle to Grafham as would be nice to see her over the water.

For some reason she has a turning point at Wellshurst Golf Club near Horam in East Sussex which is (for the south east) in the back of beyond. However luckily daughter is at a birthday party nearer there than home and needs picking up, but what time will the F1 race end? Will I be able to watch the end, then go to the Vulcan then collect daughter!

I am waiting for wheels up time to be confirmed then I can plan on what time to head to the area. I am planning on finding a spot yo parkbup just north of the airfield, near the Hastingwood roundabout.

I'm only expecting a flyover.
