Saw Megan in Rhodes last week. Love how it looks, any idea who owns it?

Certified for 30 passengers. That's interesting, I thought most of these things were officially limited to 12 or less.

Watching the Ulysses video clip with the helo landing on, what do these yachts do about flight deck crew ? I assume they will need crew to tie down, a Flight Deck Officer (as ex RN that is what they were called in the grey funnel line) to guide the helo in, what about weather conditions other than that shown in the video, any sort of holding device - harpoon etc.
Looks a wonderful way to spend your time, come on Euromillions !

Have to agree - wasn't familiar with it, but it's pretty special. The interior is a little OTT, but the spaces are amazing

There is a more recent code called the "Passenger Yacht Code" which allows 13-36 guests without having to go full SOLAS. Makes sense with the size of
yachts being built right now.

Edit, hadn't seen PW's post on the same.

Regarding Helicopters as in a few posts up, you need a Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) and I think appropriately trained landing assistants as well.

Ulysses. Already featured a few pages back is one of my favourites.
All the boat I would ever need to get as far away from the Med as possible!

Couldn't take any photos as I was driving along Poole Quay. Drumbeat was moored up this morning. You could see the main mast from miles away as it is taller than any of the buildings in the area. Looked gorgeous and had very elegant lines.

And you know what. It's tasteful . Not some godawful velvet and gold interior. It's a proper rig this. Could kg anywhere in any conditions. It puts most the st posted here to shame.

Top bombing at 0:48.

Sort of I thing I do on holiday after a few glasses of vinho verde in the sun.

Doesn't always work out so well for the kids though.

One of the coolest guys around Hart. He was a tow truck driver after leaving school at 16. When I was at uni he did an MBA . He was in his 30s then. His first big deal was buying the Government print works when the then labour morons were flogging everything. True, the company made 16m per annul and Hart agreed to buy it for 23m with payment over 5 years. In other words it was free. He sold it 5 years later for 300m and the rest is history.

Seen Abramovichs old yacht 'Luna' sailing off the southern coast of Tenerife earlier on today.

A much better looking boat than its replacement 'Eclipse' in my opinion.

Would have loved to get closer for a look/some pictures to see if it's photography 'laser shield' is actually a real thing. hehe
