Nope not that one although that one was there also. The one i'm talking about is a fair bit bigger than that. It has been there for atleast a week now but has never actually came into port it's been anchored just in the bay near the sunset strip. Thank you for the help and that website though as it seems useful.

Just got back from sivota in Greece. It's only a small harbour but saw 3 lovely boats. First had tilon2 dock in front of us, regular visitors apparently. Then Tales flying a British flag out by one of the islands. On the last day saw New Master anchored up outside the harbour. Loads of great smaller boats too, some great cats and some mean looking fast boats. ETA pics: Tilon 2 Tales New Master

I'm in Puerto Banus for a couple weeks from Thursday. If anybody would like photos I'd be very happy to oblige. I have no idea what's berthed there at the moment, mind. Well, apart from the Saudi boat. Think it's there for 2 months every summer.

Just found this video of Leander G. It must have been shot just after I left. I'm so happy to read that the guys had to spend yesterday in rainy Sunderland with the Queen onboard. Some people get all the breaks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zcRCQQElGA&fea...

in the office dreaming my friday afternoon away and came accross the Ocean Emerald - no where near the suggested £60m we are generally looking at, in fact a snip at 7.9m Euros. i think she is stunning! ultra modern looks and styling unlike anything i have seen before. http://www.boatinternational.com/yacht-sales/30665...i'm sure someone will be along to tell me how horrible she is but shes on my lottery list for tonight!

I was flicking through boat trader at the doctors and frankly a 10-15 year old cruiser no idea which makes or engine size but 6-8 berth ranged from £8 k (looked old and faded/tatty) to one I though looked very smart £18k.
How is engine development going with boats? Surely there must be a big drive to produce drastically more economical motors with no decrease in power. Also I'm assuming most boat owners when out in the ocean do run the engines for hours on end flat out or is it at peak torque for maximum economy or is it peak power?
