You should have said something last week, everyone at the show in Monaco could have come together to do something about it.

I think you are. You've never contributed here before and your first contribution is a derogatory one.

I agree with you on the top one. The other two I think look lovely.

Different folks and all that.
Is the top one not a "chase boat" for a bigger yacht - carries all the toys, helicopter etc for the passengers on the main vessel?

I will have the rather nice Swan parked in front of Garcon thanks !! biggrin
It's not GARCON. That is build number 6711 which was the next one produced by AMELS. GARCON is white and by a bizarre coincidence are now both next to each other in Valletta.

Some extremely impressive yachts on here.

I was idly musing; what's the largest motor boat one person could operate?

Saw these three a couple of weeks ago in Vittoriosa, Malta.

Not up on boats to know where they fall in terms of £60million, but i wouldn't say no to any of them.

Mates brother in law is skipper on this or a very similar boat.
Went over in May but only saw it from the other side of the marina.

The one he skippers is owned by a Ukranian I think who ended up buying the shipyeard where it was built in Holland.
Spends only about 1 month a year on it.
Crazy running costs eg. £500 per month just for the wifi!

many thanks for the correction - at least its a sister ship so close enough, didn't realise there was more than one of them!!

Anyway, still rather the swan moored in the foreground, but then i am a WAFI

Pretty common for that, and that's cheap for WiFi! Should see an IMMARSAT bill for Worldwide coverage.

500 is nothing to the prices we pay. Lets just say its a years salary for a semi decent paid job in UK

yes if you think £500 is a lot, you'd better be sitting down if you see the bill for our 5meg dedicated connection. Double it and add a zero still isn't close.

No its not... Bikini is the Port of registry under the Marshall Islands flag. I registered GARCON under 'Jaluit' which is the other option.

I assume that marine V-Sat is about the same cost as land-based, when I was working in Angola we paid around 15,000gbp a month for a 1Mb connection, I used to dream of a bill as low as 500 notes, I pay 7,000gpb a month for our 50Mb office connection here in Dubai and that's just standard DSL!

I got a random email at work offering me a 50m+ yacht worth €35+mio for €28mio, if I was prepared to move quickly.

I told them I couldn't buy it as I wouldn't have bragging rights on this thread.

Sadly they think I am much wealthier than I actually am.
