Roman Abramovich is doing some cycling around the west coast of Scotland at the moment so Eclipse has been spotted moored at various islands. My neighbours bumped into him outside their holiday home on Arran, which must've been a bit of a surprise.

Ah so that's why it's up here. Pretty unusual for a superyacht to be in the UK, let alone the west coast of Scotland. Fishtigua said:

There was another one moored out in the bay that looked massive even considering how far away I was stood.

Spot on PW how you got that from my description brilliant. We were there around the 15th June so the article's timing would make sense.
Didn't think it would be worth £85 million though!

He's bobbing around off Greenock; how the other half live. I wonder if he's sent out for some buckie and a fish supper?strudel said:
Kismet is still sat there apparently. There are some other nice looking tenders there but that was the only name I recognised, must pay more attention!
Although I only stopped briefly at St. Trop on the way back to the airport, I can see the appeal of the place, very quaint.
yes there a lot of appeal. we get the ferry over from St maxine on a evening and sit by the port for a few beers and its a very vibrant place.Although I only stopped briefly at St. Trop on the way back to the airport, I can see the appeal of the place, very quaint.

over there today for some lunch and there was not a lot of big ones in. Many smaller ones but not the size we have seen before at this time of year. Gassing Station | Boats, Planes & Trains | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
