Guess we were all in Barcelona this week!

Managed a few photos of dilbar, suggests it was only delivered in May this year. States Georgetown on the back, why would this be?

I suspect the Georgetown reg is all about taxes.

Bit of a random question and probably a bit daft, I'm not an expert in boats of any sort, but when in Palma a few weeks ago, my wife and I saw that white thing that is in the pictures with Shemara and Aquijo. What is it?

It seems it was the unofficial pistonheads trip to Barcerlona this week. I got a few snaps of dilbar too.

We first saw this one, and thought it was massive. Not much of a clue what she's called though.

We went back a few days later and Dilbar was moored next to her, just to make sure everybody knows who has the biggest yacht.

Behind it was parked Ulysses, which was pretty cool as well. This is apparently an 'expedition' yacht, which sounds way better than 'a big ostentatious boat I bought because I could'!
There you go smile

I thought I recognised the yacht Ulysses. Correct, previously owned by kiwi graham hart who has featured on here with two new mega yachts. Bit odd he sold that and went 80m mega expedition.

Ah nice one, didn't see that!

'expedition' yacht is a fantastic name.

First you're arbitrarily hacking 25% off the value of boats, now it's 25% off the length!

His previous yacht was a 51m expedition yacht built in 2003 by Trinity yachts - not sure why it would be "odd" to sell that - and the current boat is 107m, with another 116m announced in build at Kleven.
I didn't intend to say odd. Spell correct again. I stand corrected on the size.

Although no where near 60 mil, I would still prefer Zeepard over most of the poncy boats with a paltry 450 mile range and an aversion to waves. No pretentiousness, big enough to travel any where in the world and still small enough to fit into all the interesting places.
