There are a number of these around Hvar at the moment, sorry no pics though

The biggest was launching a chopper as we passed and was called something like Pegasus

Phoenix 2 has been moored in town since Saturday, these are not my thing but it is stunning apart from the statue on the bow

What I'm curious about is that phoenix always has her access ramp down and whilst I'm sure the owner has security nearby none are obvious even when the VIP party are having breakfast or dinner within easy access of someone quickly jumping aboard

I'd have imagined people like this to be more cautious with their proximity to people like me!

Edit : after a few mins online I think the big one to actually be Pelorus

Just come back from Capri and Amalfi and seen some amazing super yachts. I have noticed that the large sailing variety never seem to actually use their sales. Why is this? is it due to a skeleton crew, owner not being aboard or that it takes too long to rig it??
Probably because they're carbon sails and cost a freaking fortune - as they're limited on how much they can be used it's cheaper to put the engines on.

Motor Yacht A is currently moored in Portsmouth I bet that was a site coming into harbour.

A strange choice of name, for me it conjures up images of a rainy cemetery after dark, with screens up around one corner and the cast of Silent Witness looking glumly on. If I buy it, I'll have to get that changed.

Seems pointless getting a sailing yacht or using carbon sails. they did look stunning though

Our carbon genoa is destroyed after a year. UV is a big killer on carbon sails.

I like the hovercraft and amphibious car that comes out of it's bows.

A very lovely Bahamian island actually.

This is currently residing down in Southampton. Anyone know any details?

Wouldn't fancy landing the helicopter on it myself (even if I could fly) as it looked somewhat precarious.

(apologies for the poor photos)

For anyone interested - 'A' is currently in Central London and (accordingly to Marinetraffic) is parked along side HMS Belfast at the moment.

Having just looked out my window at work I can confirm that.

It would be interesting to see a pic of the two side by side, for size comparison.

I have taken a couple of pics but most of it is hidden behind a building between me and it.

I've spent the last two weeks in La Cala, so took a look around Puerto Banus last Thursday. Although very glitzy along the front, the side streets and a few roads back are very dodgy looking. You can almost smell the dirty money.

That said, some nice cars tooling around, and a few decent sized boats moored up.

Lady Haya - Saudi Royal family I believe.

Something else big, couldn't read the name.

And although not 60m + this Riva was just perfect.

View from our office, general consensus is that it's pretty ugly compared to the one that was moored the other side of Tower Bridge earlier in the summer.
