thanks I've been using a Nikkor 70-300mm and more recently a Nikkor 300mm f/4 D
Great, thanks. I've been considering adding a lens with a bit more reach (currently have an 18-200mm Nikkor) I think I'll take a look at the 70-300mm, you've gotten some amazing results with it. D4VE 3LL said:
I got a 300m f4 D (about as old as me at 20years!) for about the same price I bought the 70-300mm. it depends what you're after, Better image quality at 300mm or the benefit of a zoom. It does require good light though.
Let me know how you get on.
I've been leaning towards the 70-300mm but I'm going to take a look at the f/4 D...where did you find your's? Let me know how you get on.

Loving some of these photo's and has always been somewhere I'd love to go, so I'm wandering if there is a Calender or particular days they fly the loop? I have a couple of weeks off in June and was gonna head up there for a few days, so trying to work out when's best to go.
Cheers
Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays and periods over Easter and Christmas) From anywhere between 07.00h to 02.00h.Cheers
Tues/Wed/Thurs would be your best bet.
Dave.
