Loganair do the shortest scheduled flight between Papa Westray and Westray in the Orkneys. The fastest recorded time, with a favourable wind, is 53 seconds from runway to runway in an BN Islander.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pizP-00lVL

Looks like someone already beat me to sharing my own footage! Whilst I know about that flight up in the Orkneys, I think Kegata to Apowo is a fraction shorter on distance being only 1.3nm between them. Time wise though, I probably could get it down to under a minute however it's not the sort of environment to be rushing things really, seeing as any errors out here can receive the ultimate punishment....

Thanks folks!
Yeah, we get up at the crack of dawn to avoid the winds that pick up from mid-morning onwards. As most of the airstrips are aligned towards the rising terrain, you tend to have tailwinds on most landings which are not ideal when it's a 300m or less long airstrip and you have a 2400kg aircraft to squeeze onto it
Brilliant video and gives a real impression of just how remote and primitive the places are.
