Nice find indeed It could be just me that's paranoid but my AV picked up an outgoing communication when I opened the file. I've read a few pages but noticed spelling errors and typos which I find a bit weird for a published book.
I suspect it has been scanned and then the text pages run through OCR software to pull down the file size. That would introduce a few errors.Another great article here

Initial orders for American sources of titanium were found not to be pure enough, so the US ordered titanium from the USSR which was pure enough to make the alloy. Fortunately, the Russians never discovered that the titanium they sold to the US during the Cold War was being used to build the SR-71s that would spy on them.
I posted these links in the other SR-71 thread, figure they might be appreciated here if people hadn't seen them:

That's as explained by Rich Graham in his books - to all intents and purposes, you've dropped off the face of the earth at FL600 as it's referred to.
Rich Graham is currently in the country giving talks about the Blackbird. It's a fascinating presentation and well worth seeking out if he comes near you.Gassing Station | Boats, Planes & Trains | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
