Took this the other week at Farnborough, little bit out of focus but he was at the very top of his roll over and I only had a 300mm lens... and yes, this photo is the correct way up, his left wing actually went over the fuselage a split second later in the roll.

Chuffed I caught the prop wash...

Pretty sure it's worthy of this thread smile

Similar to mine, I thought I had screwed this shot up as I had frozen the props, but when I looked closer, saw the prop wash, which as you say, looks cool.

Have said it before and I'll say it again - the F16 is a beautiful shape.

Cracking photo too.

Washing off after a 1v1 against an F-16AM. Didn't need the sick bag thankfully.

Not all of the Sea Harriers were scrapped. Quite a few have gone to various museums and private collectors. However, no flying Sea Harriers remain in the UK.

There is one flying in private hands in the US.

I saw a picture on another forum of a load of Sea Harrier at (possibly) Culdrose that are used for some form of training, (obviously nothing involving flying)

Ground handling.

Ground crew need to be trained in moving the aircraft around the airfield or the carrier deck.

I think it is Jaguar that is used for ground handling at Cosford.

At least some haven't met the nearest JCB.

yet...

I'm staying for a week in Settle (North Yorkshire) from Monday - is there anywhere that might be good for aircraft photography? smile

I presume this was a stunt for a Hollywood movie. In the 1920s, film makers seemed to enjoy staging aeroplane crashes into barns, roofs etc.
