Could alternatively be the Mach Loop in Wales. F15's have been known to play a lot there recently.

The nearest P38 looks to be an F Model, the other 2 are J or L models.

The latter had the turbo-superchargers, the former did not.

Ahh the 75mm cannon armed B-25H, wonderful lunacy smile

I believe we did a similar thing (albeit replacing it with rockets in the end) mounting a 6pdr in the Mosquito.

The Italians fitted a 102mm (4 inch calibre) cannon to a Piaggio P.108A bomber, I think when it fired the bomber flew backwards.
