This picture basically encapsulates what the Mossie was all about, flying below rooftop height literally putting bombs through the windows of their target.
Now as we all know this raid has tragedy surrounding it as one of the Mossies clipped a lamp standard and crashed into a school, then subsequent aircraft attacked the burning wreckage thinking it was the target, resulting in a lot of schoolchildren being killed, something the Danes have accepted as an unfortunate accident.

Lloyd, my envy for your level of access is a close second to my envy of your photography!
Lloyd - you don't take photographs, you paint them like the Masters. You could well be the Constable/Turner of our modern age. They are a pleasure to behold. You have a very special skill many levels above us ordinary snappers.

And probably on a Brownie box camera to rub it in.......

Stunning stuff.
Thank you guys, that really is the nicest thing I've read for a while about my work smile

Is it on the list for this year?
Don't know Eric, the only "old" stuff I've heard about is the Gannet.
This is unconfirmed by Farnborough, but confirmed by the owners.
There's also a rumor of the US Historic flight, but that's only a rumor.

Best selfie I've seen.
Taken on Thursday I believe, I saw mention on Facebook that the Patroulle De France were flying with an Air France 747-400, which is what I think this is.

I think AF retired their last 747 this week so that is probably the reason for the display escort.

Cracking shots as always Lloyd.

General question, and pardon my ignorance of Hercules, but what's leaking over the wing top and back to the tail? I presume it isn't serious or I guess someone might have told them!?

Great photo, flew in like that last week and was rather surprised to see a smaller thing running parallel.

Don't pilots have lane discipline like ten-pin bowlers do?

Taken by Anthony Pecchi, a great photographer.

How come the propellers look almost like discs? Very slow shutter speed or just fast propellers on the C130?
