From Walter Soplata's Collection on his farm.

A rare Twin Mustang - latest on it here - http://www.warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB3/v...

More here - http://pacaeropress.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=324... some have been moved and being restored.

Aerial map of the place as it is now (last couple of years)

Awesome stuff; there's a similar hoarder(somewhere in Texas I think) who had at one point most of the ex Spanish Airforce bf109s, not to mention vast quantities of other fabulous stuff like crated merlins.

I saw that collection of jumble sale items and "went" WOW, how many Cutlasses are there still around?

Turns out there are quite a few, I am amazed.

The bloke has soime wonderful old planes there and it seems he has been instrumental in several rarebirds getting back in circulation.

The man in question is/was Connie Edwards. He bought up the Hispano Buchons in 1968 and loaned them to the producers of the film Battle of Britain.

A7 CorsairIIs of some description.

Also this; I know it's a video, but it's so cool watching biggles do his steely-eyed bringer of death bit, especially in a Buccaneer. Never has 'Bananas, bananas!' sounded more warry!hehe
