Superyacht - what is it?
Discussion
That PJ boats looks crazy, l think the view from the bridge looks like a joke, they need to concentrate on building boats in the states, they also have a very very large expedition yacht being built in Norway in a yard that normally builds sceismic boats, it is a great looking boat but weather it gets finished or not who knows.

I note from your profile the JST link, great organisation.
Thank you very much. Been involved for over 20yrs, from deckies arse to almost running the show. Tried to organise a PH trip a couple of years back - no interest unfortunately. I could try for again for 2011 perhaps. Say a drive to Southampton Docks (I'd organsise secure parking) and a day out on this:
Good idea?
I could possibly be up for it (if Skoda's are allowed in the secure car park?)

Wow, that looks ace! Went to the Tall Ships in Hartlepool last weekend and got me thinking this is something I'd like to do.

She was there, now bouncing her way to Brugge. I could possibly be up for it (if Skoda's are allowed in the secure car park?)
I'd have to sort out separate parking for your car - along with my crappy 10yr old Honda Boredom SE (that I'm ashamed to put in my profile on here) away from all the decent motors.

I went to King Edward VI in Southampton, we used to pay a £1 each at the end of term to go in dressed either casual or in fancy dress, me and a mate went in as a panotmine horse, it was a right laugh, all the money went to JST. Think it must have been 1987.
You must be local, we live in Hamble. If you want to organise a PH day, I have a Huntsman 28, I'd happily bring that along, donations to JST for a blast up and down.

Great offer thanks, which I'll take you up on. Yertis said:
I'd certainly like to come along – can I bring a wife and daughter or would they be considered bad luck?
12yrs is the minimum age for a day sail. Girls are bad luck in general, not only on ships (I've got 4 at home ) To all those interested in a trip, I've e-mailed Garlick to seek approval for posting a PH

To all those interested in a trip, I've e-mailed Garlick to seek approval for posting a PH piss up day out on a tall ship thread. As I have to sell the places, I don't want to fall foul of PH trading rules (even though we subsidise all our prices via our own fundraising efforts). If gained, I'll post a new thread.
I think a PH trip should add to the funds of JST.Gassing Station | Boats, Planes & Trains | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
