Brand new loco dropped from crane...
Discussion
Some of the 'largest' engines we've had on Britain's railways have still been very tight for space in the engine room, with all the other equipment for train heating, brakes, fuel tanks etc it's an extremely tight fit with some classes of diesel.
Ever been in the cab or through the engine room of a Deltic...?
;O)

Not a Deltic yet. I've done powercars, 47s, 37s, 67s, APT(!), 73s and most of those have been tight enough as it is!!Ever been in the cab or through the engine room of a Deltic...?

Sorry for the thread revival but some of you may be interested in seeing footage of the damaged loco on the move to Liverpool.
