I've been looking through the classifieds for a Harrier for a while now, this seems like the one to get, two seats for me and the gf, to take her to the shops, parking will be easy too!!!

Hmm - an early model would be more viable to get back into the sky than a recent one stripped of its classified avionics... If the airframe is solid, I wonder if those guys in the US with the operational Sea Harrier might take a look at it?? Passenger flights in a Harrier would be a unique offer....

I think all us members should bundle up, (i dont know how many members we have) put a few quid in each.

Then we can paint it black, cover it in PH smileys and just stand around it in awe.

yikes I've lived about 10 minutes from there (Morden) for 14 years and I never knew about that! Is it still there? Will have to have a gander at some point.

Things like this give me goosebumps, so much engineering. Kinda sad to think about where it used to be and where it is now.

God to start that up and burn some trees down, IMMENSE

If you hold onto your pennies you will be able to get yourself a GR9 soon, the much improved facelifted version with bigger engine. wink

Does the price include payload? Id expect to see the GAU cannons in with the asking, to strafe all the idiots on the M60 (with foglights usually on) doing 50.
