Ahh one of teh Thai tourist go fast boats to take you out to the Islands - many in Ao Chalong for example, and the Thai's that drive them only understand stop and go, even when manouvering! no throttle finesse hehe

It's all just wrong when you look at it. They have gone to the expense of extensions for the centre engines but not sorted the steering. As you say halve the weight on the back, halve the fuel load and set them up right and it would probably perform around the same but handle a damn sight better / safer.

Oh yes, it's looking really good. Even if it is cutting it a bit fine, Splash on Friday and the races Sat/Sun.

Thought you guys were running rudes now? But you both have merc 135s on. Is that the engine to run?

UIM Class 3A & B - 115 hp which is what you see there. First one my son Jack and the second Olly from Guernsey. Pro XS and Rude HO are the engines of choice since it went EPA engines only.

All being prepared for the World Championships in Guernsey this September.

Not to be confused with UK OCR.

Not my one of course, that is Big Block V8 and fits just unlimited club. I'm far too old for International racing. wink

This is 'Boudicca' an Ilmer 32. Dutch built of Corten steel and weighs about 7 tons! Purchased by us last summer after 4 years on hardstanding, and is an ongoing project for us.

As purchased.....needs a bit of TLC!

Ready for transport and launch after a summer of sand blasting, sanding and painting.

In the water, Spring 2013

That is a beautiful boat, nice job on the resto, the off white really suits it! I can tell you are going to have a good summer!

Unfortunately I doubt I'll see the water this summer but next year for sure, my new project....

Things to Ponder:

Does Neptune punish re-named boats in the order they were re-named in?

Does boat insurance cost extra for boats with changed names?

If you change a boat name, then change it back again, is Neptune okay with that or is he twice as angry??

If your boat had it’s name changed in the past, should you make every effort to find out the original name and change it back?

If you remove the old name because you do not want a name on your boat, have you “changed the name”?

If you name an un-named boat, did you “change the name” by giving it a new name?

Does Neptune, God of the “SEA”, care if you change the name of a boat on a lake or river?

If not, when a re-named boat re-locates from freshwater to salt will Neptune become angered?

If a re-named boat re-locates from saltwater to fresh is the curse broken?

Almost 90% of all named boats have already been re-named and those other 10% of newer boats will be re-named in the future. Are they all cursed?
