What make is this? I keep looking at getting me a nice boat and have had a look at a wally tender but decided i would prefer a boat that floated and it didnt look like it would and a fjord but didnt click with that. I assume were talking kind of comparable prices if not no bother as dont want to go (too) broke buying one.

Great photo, looks like perfect conditions.Very nice! The same model was moored up just off the jetty of the little restaurant we frequent in corfu. It somewhat dwarded our little 21ft day boat!
My wife has consistently reminded me of that boat on that mooring, at that time of the year as a reference for where we see ourselves in 15 years time post mortgage/post children.

My 2005 Sunseeker 82. I bought it in May 2020 as ex-Maroma IV which had a refit in 2015 and 2017. I now have it down in Plymouth (Aquamare marine) for a comprehensive refit. I will join it at the end of March as owner/skipper along with my chef from last year and a stewardess before moving her back to ocean Village for April getting it ready for the summer charter season in the Algarve.
Now called CHESS.

Just curious, is the boat a business or the charter a way of keeping the costs down on a hobby? The maths are fascinating! £1m to buy + £250k refit (sheer guesswork) + 10% maintenance per season (guessing again) + £60K 6 months wages (for 2 crew, yup still guessing) = a lot, less £7k charter revenue per day?

Depending on COVID of course, an average charter season in the Algarve with approx 4 to 5 day charters per week more than covers the annual running costs and crew wages (Including mine)...... The bonus is I enjoy driving the yacht and I get a full summer season in the Algarve. With Day Charters I also get to sleep in the master cabin and my two crew sleep in the side cabins. We do have a crew quarters for 3 so we would retreat in there should we have any overnight charters with 8 guests.
