See here for Poll A

POLL B

1. 6th Gear

Melt in your mouth BBQ Salmon with lemon, parsley and dill grilled in a newspaper parcel. Veg and a homemade tartar sauce:

2. cal72

Omega 3 overload:

3. captainzep

Captain Eyebird's Oily Platter. A platter of: (front to back) lemon and tarragon breaded Salmon, grilled mackerel with cherry tomatoes, proscuito wrapped trout, pancakes stuffed with 'offcuts' with capers, white wine and cream, tuna steak pan fried in chorizo oil. Served with homemade tartare sauce, minted mushy peas, twice fried chips and some homegrown green sh!t:

4. Dizeee

Seared Mackerel served on a bed of Spring Greens with a Dijon dressing. Assemble your salad, for me it's Rocket, Italian Greens and diced Red Pepper / Spring Onion / Tomatoes / Quartered cucumber... 2 eggs sliced is a great complement:

5. zakelwe

Salmon Mousseline with scallops and dill:

6. 21TonyK

1) Lazy tapanade with paprika dipped soft boiled quails eggs
2) Fennel salad with shallots
3) Pan fried mackerel fillets
4) Confit tomato with fresh thyme
5) Jersey Royals with French beans and confit garlic
Garlic oil and Dijon mayonnaise sticking it all together:

If there a cook off in the event of a tie break?
Some really great dishes here.
Good luck .

Have I boo booed? Voted in each group?

You're really only supposed to vote once.

However since the polls are separate due to the number of entries, there is no way of policing this.

Unless a friendly mod can do some jiggery-pokery behind the scenes to 'link' the two polls?

Or perhaps we do host a cook-off?

As others have said, very strong round of entrants this time.

There's a lightness of touch, simplicity (relatively speaking) -and by the look of things clean flavours in Tony's dish which makes it the one I'd probably order from the Chez Pistonheads Bistro menu.

Good work.

Maybe a helpful Mod can sticky them for the duration of the voting so people can see there are two polls rather than one falling onto the next page and being missed

I'd just like to thank my mum for being the only person voting for me!

Not bad considering she has been dead for 5 years and I had to communicate by ouija board.

And before you ask, yes they do have wifi in heaven, so you don't have to worry about that.

There's a dichotomy here between (a) what looks nicest, (b) who's put the most effort in and (c) what I'd actually most like to eat. Make that a trichotomy...

I know what you mean. I sometimes look at a dish and think that looks great and must have taken ages in prep and cooking. Then I see somethig that I would really like to eat and go for that.

Damn it, damn it and damn it thrice more! In that case she must be voting for Captn Zep as well. Noooooooooooooooooooo mind you, that was a very, very good dish.

Getting back to my dish, it has stretched further than I thought. We all know that mums can make a chicken roast on Sunday last all the way to the next weekend, so I have done the same for my dish. I got all the left over bits of prawn, crab and cream sauce and added it to smoked haddock and eggs and did a baked dish

There is even some over for the local fox

Not bad at all, my mum would be proud. Cue Spitfire flyover
