He's part of it. The recipe is from my favourite Korean fast foot outlet - KFD

Where did the onions end up? In the sausage of the hash browns?

In the hash browns. They were a bit of a failure though. Potato grated too fine being the main issue.

For the sausage I followed a recipe from migweb which used too much salt and pepper. Temper those a bit and maybe add some MSG next time and they'll be as good as (better than!) McD's.

This was the recipe I followed - http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/off-topic-discussio...

I would say 1tsp each of salt and pepper rather than 1tbsp. MSG could be a good addition. The only thing I would say is when you think the patties are flat enough, flatten them some more. Mine was still thicker than McD's.

Here we go.

The Captainzep Anatolian Cuisine Special Mixed Kebab

Using the Lamb Doner recipe from "The Takeaway Secret" and making my own chicken doner and some simple grilled lamb steak, a special mixed kebab was born from my own kitchen.

I also utilised the functional excellence of the "Home-Kebabotron 3000" -an essential (patented) tool of great complexity, of my own intensive design and manufacture. Made of wood, 6 inch nails, turbo-gold screws and British gumption.

Pre pitta-stuffing, with 'golick sowce':

Fin. Forgive the beans. I have a picky 3yr old son. Who loves beans.

Yum. And the best bit? The lamb doner actually tastes of kebab shop lamb doner. Same texture and everything. Despite my sceptical outlook when I first read the recipe. Bit of a revalation to be honest.

My take on a Big Mac and Fries..... take said ingredients.

Mince beef, baking potatoes, dill, ketchup, american mustard, whole and relished gherkins, cheese slices, egg yolks, salt, pepper and sugar. Somethings not in shot as they where still in the cupboard at the time.

And I give you the....... Monster Mac n triple cooked jenga chip tower smile

Homemade Maccy d's burger sauce was great, tasted just like you get in the golden arches, also had some on the side as a dip with the chips. I forgot to get some lettice to go in the burger for authenticity, then thought this is for pistonheads after all so nevermind.
