Is it really necessary to make tea with boiling water?

Pretentious bullst?

Errrr.... what's pretentious about pointing out that if you drink scotch with ice that will inhibit the flavour (and the aroma too, as it happens). If you bothered read my post you'll see that I really don't care what you do. And as you drink it neat too, why are you even bothering to comment?
