Pistonheads whisky cask

I am happy with the move and the cost of doing it, just let me know where to pay and I'll do it.
As far a bottle shape goes, I prefer the standard shape as it fits into my whisky racks easier. I can't seem to tell the difference between the bottle of the far left and the bottle on the far right though.
I am happy to have the whisky watered down slightly for bottling but would not really want it to go below 48% to be honest.
Racks? Do you store them horizontally? As far a bottle shape goes, I prefer the standard shape as it fits into my whisky racks easier. I can't seem to tell the difference between the bottle of the far left and the bottle on the far right though.

The bottle on the right seems to have a slightly different shaped shoulder.
I like the dumpy one at £2.25 or the square one at £3.00 best i think.

Whiskybroker will ship them.
Glenglassaugh wouldnt so i would have had to have done that myself.
But, a roadtrip would be much more in keeping with the spirit (see what i did there?) of this enterprise!!! And Newton Stewart is much closer to you Southerners than Portsoy!
Cool - I vote for a haig dimple style of bottle (that was an option right?)Glenglassaugh wouldnt so i would have had to have done that myself.

All good with me and I am not too fussed which bottle we go for either. Maybe different bottles for different casks if there are enough reasonably priced options?
Easter would be great for me except I will be in Baden Baden doing my best impression of a drunken fool! (A bit like October )

From Whiskybroker:
You are welcome to come and see us anytime and sample your casks. HMRC are more lenient about customers coming to the premises to have a dram of their cask - funnily enough, you are let off with paying the duty on that. I am not sure they could stop this from ever happening anyway and doubt they'd appreciate the paperwork!
So WB, like GLG, don't send out samples but there's no limit on what can be drawn duty-free in person...

No more from Glengalassaugh anyway I'm afraid.
Right, since there have been no complaints I've asked Whiskybroker to move the casks. Should be moved late next week or possibly into the week after.
Cheers

Another question - do "we" own the physical cask ? What happens to it after its emptied apart from being left open as an air freshener is leftys garage? Next thing-bagsy a cask!
