GWC - Stir fried beef with lemon grass, chilli, garlic and coriander with a hot, soy, sugar and fish sauce dressing served with Jasmine rice.
No ingredient or prep photos but I included it anyway.

Went for Ali_kat's just for sheer effort alone, plus all the dishes looked really nice.

I know we dont do runners up but I wanted to mention that Croaky would be a firm 2nd for me.

However excellent entrys this round, I never made it to the butcher to get some oxtail, I would have been doing Asian braised oxtail with rice noodle baskets. Will have to try it someother time though.

diffcult one this. mainly because, imo, looks and taste do not go hand in hand with asian cuisine. i mean, a perfect rendang could easily look like a bowl of mushed slop with a bad pic and i CBA'd reading the whole thread [sorry!].

thus, vanessa gets my vote for using a slab of duck rather than slivers. i'm disappointed in 6th gear for using such teensy tiny prawns as i know what monsters he could have got from carrefour!
