Probably the nicest burger I've tasted and cooked perfectly.

Belgian Beer Cafe, Dubai.

Went for a wrap again, usual of chicken, lettuce, onion, tomato and I did order cheese, can anyone spot some?

Think I'll avoid this place for a bit, been getting worse and worse.

Tuna mayo and beef & horseradish.

Not nearly enough for two but was nice enough.

Mmmmm! Afternoon tea? With Champagne?

I had afternoon tea at the County Hall hotel in London once. We had been concerned the portion size might be a little on the 'miserly' size. Then they brought out the sandwiches on one of them there multi layer trays, and we thought "there's more than enough for the four of us, we'll be fine". Then out came a second tray, exactly the same as the first eek It was a tough gig, but I managed to finish more than my fair share, although we did have to have them box up some of the cakes that followed the sandwiches, to take away for later...

Had to deliver a template to my glass suppliers on Thursday so took the wife for a drive and had lunch at the Chef and Brewer, Gatwick Manor. This was probably a bit heavy for a hot summers day but I couldn't resist.

Slow cooked beef rib with barbecue sauce, hoisin duck wings, sweet potato chips, sweetcorn and a mustard dressed coleslaw/salad, accompanied by a pint of lager shandy as I was driving.

The rib meat just fell off the bone, the duck wings were deliciously sticky and the sweet potato chips were amazing, a very long time since we ate at a Chef and Brewer but will certainly be going back for more.

It came from a Chinese restaurant and is their "roasted meat combination" or "three roasties" - widely available at lunch time or the weekend when Chinese folk gather for dim sum.

You just need to find a Chinese restaurant that cater for the Chinese fraternity as well.

Nah, shells wrong texture for me, just ate all the flesh and then ate some of the wife's Lobster ravioli which was even better!
