OT test, in my last post my name was lower case, the one before that it was upper case.

I feel a PH wibble coming on. scratchchin
I noticed that earlier in another thread with a different posters name, I just presumed I was seeing things. Just bread rolls and deli meat for me today, not really photo worthy.

I'd hardly call my lunches photo worthy, BM. I just put the pictures up anyway to make you all jealous. biggrin

I take a lot of pride in my below par lunches, I can tell you do, too. So when I have pork/chorizo/pepparham in a crusty roll I feel it's not worth sharing hehe

Pizza Express for lunch today. Buy one get one free with Tastecard which was free with the RBOS. £20 including two beers, really nice.

Is that butter underneath?

That looks almost as wrong as my Finnish friends eating porridge with butter and salt, instead of fruit and sugar.

Don't normally get to eat lunch out of the office but was out yesterday doing some work at a film studio and this was the lunch - not bad TBH!
Crispy chilli beef.

Yep, it's butter. Goes amazingly well with banana and fresh bread... try it, you might be surprised. Sometimes savoury and sweet go well together... salted caramel icecream is one of my favourites right now.

Oh, and as any true Scot will tell you... porridge should ALWAYS be made with salt, not sugar.

Salt liquorice ice cream is delicious, banana on bread is not... Salted popcorn is also amazing.

Banana sandwiches are great but not something I've had for 20 years.

That may change mid-afternoon...

Damn it! I took these pictures last week, but didn't post them on account of how I didn't feel they'd be appreciated in the company of such obviously high quality lunches. But since mashed banana butties are evidently an acceptable midday meal, here you go...

Errr?

No. Would you ask the same question if I posted pictures of a Sweet'n'Sour dish, or a Waldorf Salad? I happily mix cheese and jam in a sandwich too. There's nowt wrong with a mix of fruit with savoury if it's done right wink
