In a long tin and from Lidl. We bought it once then again days later when friend's came round as it was lovely.

make sure to be a disgusting pig like me and scrape out every last bit of the sauce that gets stuck in the ridges in the foil.
Thank you very much, I sure will biggrin
I bought the Chocolate one of these a week or so ago. Very impressed with it, particularly the generous amount of sauce!

Had the brioche buns from Aldi at the weekend.

Lovely. Will be my burger-container of choice this summer!

For the Lidlers, a warning. 'Deluxe' frozen steak and Stilton pies: gopping. Gristly meat, and gravy which tastes like sick :-/

Not personally tried them but was warned off the same range chicken and chorizo pies. Minced sick was the description.

Does anyone know if LIDL sell 00/ Double 0 flour? Seems as though all the supermarkets around me (asda) don't stock them. I'd love to made some homade naples-style pizzas.

Fairly sure they don't as I have a feeling I've looked before when making pasta.

Happy for someone else to say I'm wrong though.

No. I've been looking since I got a pasta machine, neither do aldi but aldi had it two weeks ago on a special, maybe there s some left. It's not located with normal flour, it's in specials.

Rarely - If however you are the Maidenhead side of London, visit Continental stores

Morrisons sells it, or at least, our local quite small one does.

It's the gluten content. Strong bread flour should do the job if you can't find 00

Bought a bottle of Chablis (2013) at Lidl today for £7.99.

It is the best wine that I have had in a couple of years.

A complete contrast to their "Liberty" rum, which had "hints of methylated spirits".

I'm going to add Aldi Italian meat extra special fresh pizza to the list. Very nice smile

And Caledonian extra mature extra special cheddar - now reduced as well. Not too salty like some mature cheddars and a bit crumbly.
