Currently eating Carrot and Coriander soup - "fresh" in a plastic microwaveable pot thing as opposed to tinned - 89p from Aldi and rather nice. Quick and easy lunch for work and these cost 2-3x as much in Tesco/Sainsburys.
I haven't tried the carrot n coriander soup, but (as previously reported) the tomato and basil in the same range is very nice. I wouldn't rave about the Sri Lankan chicken but the pea and ham is pretty good.kapiteinlangzaam said:
LIDL here have some great (uber powerful) ultrasonic Mole spikes in at the moment for €10 a pop.
My back garden has been utterly wrecked over winter by Moley, one week with these bad boys and no new hills
If they make it over to the UK, they are highly recommended.
But do they taste better than Tesco/Sainsbury/Waitrose moles once you've kebabbed them?My back garden has been utterly wrecked over winter by Moley, one week with these bad boys and no new hills

I was going to try the Sri Lankan Chicken one next, might give it a swerve (currently having Sainsbury's Taste The Difference soups for lunch at work - £1.50 on offer which is cheaper than the Aldi Specially Selected ones IIRC)Toaster Pilot said:

You know what I really like about Aldi products? The peel back plastic lids actually peel back like they're supposed to. With bacon, ham etc you normally have to just stick a knife in and cut round the edges but I've found with Aldi stuff they actually do pull open.
It's the little things that make me happy

From Lidl I just got some fantastic DOP Buffalo Mozarella from Campania, utter bargain !
I saw that in there (£1.50 ish compared to their usual 0.50p stuff) so how much better is it? I like with bread, fresh tomatoes & basil. I bought done of the Squid & some Tuna with Cherries.
