Ok, not the most imaginative of compitition but I thought I would take this boring family staple food and see what twists people can come up with!

I already have something in mind,

Lime and tequila chargrilled chicken pasta, it's lovely!

Same rules apply, 4 picture maximum and thread closes on Sunday 8th 22:00!

Cheers

not bad but to get my vote it needs some kind of meat, although mushrooms are good an tastey, they are no substitute for meat.

although I might be persuaded to change my mind if someone can tell me if mushrooms have the same amount of protein as meat.

god its difficult to type when this drunk wink

Do we actually have to make the pasta itself? or can we use dried pasta...

I can see there being very few entries if we have to make it from scratch!

Yeh might be somewhat limited if you have to make the pasta as I dont have one of the machines either.

Shop bought for me too.

No machine but I do have a rolling pin and a knife. Would re-post the duck ravioli as I will not be able to cook this weekend but that is not in the normal rules. Pasta is easy once you get the hang of it !

Considering the 8th May is a Tuesday and the OP says Sunday 8th, I'm going to guess April?

hehe

Easter weekend is out due to cleaning the freezer. Next weekend is out as I'm in Port Macquarie. As I'm on a diet which prohibits mid week carbs after 14:00, I will not be participating frown
