The Weber's on, smoking a nice pork shoulder. I'll hopefully be eating some pulled pork and slaw in a couple of hours, can't wait!

More BBQs already this year than last year Today was spatchcock chicken (marinated in onions, paprika, lemon juice, garlic and black pepper) and courgettes - served with salad obviously.

So after some laxatives yesterday I decided to fire up the barbecue again as it's supposedly the last day of the warm weather in Sheffield. So to keep it light and give my bowels a rest, we had some nice salmon with grilled artichoke hearts and courgettes and some nice salad.
NOM NOM NOM, I'm still scared of my wife thinking I'm bonkers so no pics - you'll just have to imagine.

used mine every night for over a week.
last night had some nice salmon with lemon, dil, black pepper and butter wrapped in a parcel of tin foil. perfect. tonight was chicken, sweet pepper, 'shroom, tomato and onion kebabs with veggie rice and salad, bladderly lavverly.
tomorrow it will be on again (if the weather continues!) and have some sausages ready in the fridge. ye can't beat a barby for cooking food imo in the good weather.

Having a quieter family one tonight!
Pulled pork, Buffalo Wings and the obligatory burgers and sausages! om nom nom.
google hestons burger recipe, best burgers I've ever made and a complete piece of piss too. The one that uses cubed sirloin and your own meat grinder? Seems a right faff to me!

3 types of chicken done tonight, all on skewers (lime & coriander, tandoori, and cajun). I think tomorrow I'll be giving it a rest and having a salad or something

Any good charcoal offers on at the moment? I haven't got a Makro card so can't go there for their restaurant grade charcoal, but wondering if there are any decent alternatives?

Steer clear of Ausie Heat beads, they are total b ks. I prefer Big K briquettes for proper BBQ, also Big K charcoal for a quick fast BBQ with no smoking long term cooking.

Still nice weather so made pizzas on the BBQ. Very nice, toppings nicely melted without the base going soggy.
