Another for Ben and Jerries chocolate fudge brownie. It's like crack.
I normally hate chocolate, and ice cream.
Only other stuff that's nice is from ice cream shops in italy.

I've never had good ice cream in this country. Not once. In a bizarre multi-cultural step, you don't have to walk more than a few hundred yards in Germany to find an 'Italian' ice cream cafe, all of which sell the most divine ice creams - all of their fruit variants in particular actually taste of the fruit described. Banana ice cream, for example, tastes of fresh ones of these rather than of these

The best.
(as a tip, made with condensed, sweetened milk)
The above tip is worth ££ thousands! I would agree with that although I haven't been there for years. Stuff you can buy in supermarkets - Minghella's from the Isle of Wight Marshfield farm Another vote for Joe's Ice Cream. Mumbles or St. Helen's Road, Swansea. it's sold in shops in Swansea now too. We used to stop on the way back from taking the cat to the vet's when I was a kid so the cat could have a little pot of ice-cream which she used to go crazy for.

See I have to say the 22.9 pence Lidl Cornetto-a-likes are pretty bloody good IMO.

The above tip is worth ££ thousands! God yes! I can't quite believe this is the first reply... I've travelled to a lot of places, and even the finest Gelato in Italy doesn't compare to a Joe's cup with nuts and strawberry sauce. Every time I go back to Wales with a friend/girlfriend, it takes little persuasion for me to make the detour to the Mumbles - everyone I've taken there has been absolutely blown away, and rightly so.

B&J is absolute s te imho, although the Phish Food one is okay. The chocolate fudge brownie is so sickly it's untrue, and those brownies are just a big blob of horrible mushy paste that nearly make me sick. My favourite mainstream ice-cream is Haagen-Dazs, even more so when it's on half price offer at the supermarkets. Cookies & Cream, Belgian Chocolate and Dulce de Leche are all very nice, but my favourite is the caramel brownie one (can't remember official name) which can only be found in Waitrose.

Now when I'm up north of the border I alway take the family. They did make Irn Bru sorbet, not sure if they still do.

Mackie's is good, especially the Vanilla; not sure how available it is outside Scotland though.
Bizarrely they've started flogging Mackie's crisps, which I'm convinced are laced with crack as they are ridiculously more-ish.
