I was given a bottle of port last Christmas, opened in tonight but Christ, it's a bit strong isn't it?!
What is the best way to enjoy it, foods etc.?
What measurement is the norm?
Apologies if I come across as a bit of a philistine .

Have it with lemonade, over ice. Nice refreshing drink (if a little bit "old lady") biggrin

Small amounts, maybe 50ml? I just sip and enjoy whenever I fancy. Which reminds me, I must buy another bottle!

ETA Sorry if that's too small, but hopefully you get the point smile

I normally have it with a bit of strong cheese like stilton or vintage cheddar instead of a dessert. 60ml x2 or 3 puts a decent meal to bed very nicely.

And enjoy tomorrow morning if you happen to polish off the rest of the bottle. headache
