Depends.

Staropramen is bloody lovely and absolutely my favourite, but I would struggle with it as a "session" beer. I wouldn't last long at the Sunday 4 O'clock club if I was drinking that!

Usually Carling Extra Cold or Stella 4 - depending on where the club is meeting!

Birra Moretti, served ice cold in one of those big wine glass things on a warm summer evening.

Meantime is pretty good, and its from London.
I know the owner of the Meantime Brewery - based down in Greenwich. He's a great guy and very good golfer (not that that matters) For his degree, he went to university in Munich and studied brewing. smokin

My vote goes to Tyskie the second greatest thing after ladies with nice bottoms that Poland has given us.
Has a nice almost buttery taste to it,very drinkable and no headache in the morning that I seem to get with Stella.

I have enjoyed Kasteel Cru, Windhoek, Sapporo and Kronenbourg Grand Cru, all of which I have picked up in the supermarkets.

There are also a lot of random German stuff about, but its very hit and miss whether you can find it anywhere!

It has to be Asahi for me. It's got the perfect balance of crispness and flavour for me.

Nils Oscar god lager for a few.

I love leffe too

not a lager but brew dog's punk is glorious as refreshing as a lager but very grape fruity.

Sapporo lager is clean and nice too but expensive.

San Miguel always brings back fond memoires

Dark gleaming amber; nose is a soothing confection of milk chocolate and toffee; milk chocolate, vanilla, mocha coffee on the palate; lasting dry finish.

West St. Mungo, 5%

Soft floral nose with undercurrent of caramel. Good body, dry bitter finish.

Leeds Brewery Leodis, 4.5%

As dark as treacle; resiny hop with wisps of smoke on nose; the palate is smoky, bitter and dry.
