i have to set a budget or i can get carried away, twizzlers ftw!
I go to the warehouse one (guildford I think) every 3-4 months to buy a box of american Dr Pepper and pick up quite a few boxs of Reeses puffs for the OH. Ideally situated near a school as well so you get a lot of school kids in there when it lets out.

I have noticed more and more of american websites and shops popping up. Seems they are very popular and big business of late.

Haven't been there in a while, it's so easy to get carried away and spend a fortune! Peanut butter M&M's and a few boxes of Kraft Dinner are usually at the top of the list!

Just down the road from me, I go in about once a month to buy a £12.99 box of goldfish cheese crackers for me and peanut butter m&m's for the girls at work.

ok. I'm sat 30ft from an 'Americandy' store. What is recommended for reasonable money, given minimum wage earnings?

Nothing really, it's all a delicious rip off!

Though a bag of Reese's Pieces should be tried if they have some. Nothing like them in the UK!

What he said... Buying from any of these places, especially the one near me, is a total rip off, but I just can't help but go in there every so often and splash out on a few overpriced yet delicious items smile

Mmmmm... This thread has made me want to go in there tomorrow for some Twinkies!

I LOVE twinkies!

From experience...american sweets are disgusting.

You're example of coke is especially galling. Americans are desperate to get hold of Mexican coke instead of their crappy sugar substituted corn syrup bks.

Peanut butter m&m's why are they not sold over here in the first place? Everyone that I know loves them!

I've always assumed it's an additive issue with some of their foodstuffs.
Twinkies would sell like hot cakes (hehe) over here but they are packed full of crap.

3 Musketeers bars are nice.
