Yeah, kept it simple....
Fried off some garlic. Cooked down some italian plum tomatoes, sugar and dried herbs for two hours. Added fresh basil at the end.
Made some dough using '00' and popped some decent mozzarella and anchovies on top.
Badda bing!
Can't quite match that, especially your epic looking dough - I've got some homemade meatballs in tomato/garlic sauce left over, a few mushrooms, red onion, the remains of a basil bush and some poor mans mozarella, pics to follow during F1 GP.Fried off some garlic. Nice 14oz rump steak from work for tonight.
Bit of this found in the drawer, mixed with oil rubbed on, then wrapped in cling film and left to marinate the steak for a couple of hours. Nice actually, very very subtle US BBQ flavour, with a slight tang, and some sweetness.
Steak, fries, and asparagus, with very peppery garlicy fried mushrooms and onions - just couldn't be bothered to turn it into a cheese sauce really! All fried in butter, bit of a treat!
Over did it a bit, usually eat my steak rare, if not blue... but was actually very nice. Timing messed up so well rested and perfectly pink throughout.
Boss gave my steak to me for nothing, and some mushrooms and bunches of asparagus was going begging too, so only cost me a few fries and half an onion!
Glad that you liked the look of mine. Cheers. Bit of this found in the drawer, mixed with oil rubbed on, then wrapped in cling film and left to marinate the steak for a couple of hours. Nice actually, very very subtle US BBQ flavour, with a slight tang, and some sweetness.

Your steak looks very good. Well cooked and the mushrooms look very tasty. I will try using a rub next time and see how it goes. Wish I had access to free steak. It would be all I ate!

Sainsburys Maine Lobster tail, East London Steak Company fillet, smothered in garlic butter and served with Riverford Asparagus and Sainsburys petit pois. Was not fancy. Took seven minutes to cook. Was supremely delicious. Garlic butter essential.

I feel that the East London steak co. could be getting some of my cash very soon! Good website and not extortionately priced for what looks to be top quality meat.

I've had a range of cuts from them. Everything has been delicious. They clearly source top quality meat, especially the steak, of course, and they cut it in a variety of interesting ways you don't see so often. They actually do a Porterhouse, they also do Fillet on the bone and other treats. Recommended.
