Paella de Marisco (Mixed seafood Paella, recipe from Spanish Tapas restaurant) done on the barbecue. Accompanied by garlic & parsley bread, again cooked on the barbecue.
....only a bit of rain after serving it took the edge of it all!
That looks absolutely fantastic, good effort! ....only a bit of rain after serving it took the edge of it all!
Some of the photos in this thread make me hungry even though I've just had a huge dinner
I generally make my dinners taste nice, and also quite healthy but never look as remotely appealing as some of the dishes here!

Manchester House yesterday. Fully deserves a Michelin star IMO. Service and food was excellent and much better than the Michelin restaurants in the Lakes.
Is it worth a trip then? I've not been, so this is totally unfounded, but I couldn't help thinking it looked a bit style over substance for the money. That's the only thing that has been putting me off a bit. We were favouring going to the French (also not been) as it looked like it might taste better. E65Ross said:

Just looked at this again then looked down at my pile of chicken and broccoli... no contrast!
I eat strict through the week but on the one day I can let go I make sure the food is good quality, in fact I usually start planning what I am going to cook on the weekend by Wednesday.
I have to agree some of the food on this thread looks good, some very good camera skills too which adds to the whole thing.

I went for a lunch and only had a main and dessert which was enough. I did order some chips that helped with that.
It all tasted excellent and the service was top notch. I can't compare it to The French, which seems to have a much larger menu, as I haven't been yet.
