Was it yourself that made the crispy chicken wings? Are they them? Really need to try making theses.

That there is a plate of ribs braised in foil with a dry rub then glazed wet and open roasted with a BBQ sauce. The wings were dropped in to a heavily seasoned starch and open roasted, then Franks wing coated.

The dog is a decent deli-bought frankfurter but I forget the brand, and the vegetable was kohlrabi simply because it needed using.

And yes the crispy wings were indeed discussed by me further up the page.

Phwoar...!

Woods you say? Will have to give that a bash.

I went to cane and grain last weekend for beers. Their bar snacks are excellent, particular the rib tips (insanely tender and delicious).

Had a small diversion from the Atkins diet silly

Asparagus and smoked cheddar tart.

Four short Mexicans, masquerading as lemon meringue pies.

Pot de creme, de-potted and served with strawberries.

I'm not a fussy eater but I border on being physically sick trying to eat an olive.

Got a couple of ribeyes from the butchers in Dolgellau, very tasty. Served with dauphinoise (Asdas, not made), asparagus and vine tomatoes roasted in olive oil and balsamic.

Spam and cheese.
I'm glad to see it's not just me who enjoys a spam and cheese sandwich. My Mrs thinks they're disgusting!

A bit of a low carb diet blip from me this weekend.

Homemade pizza Friday.

Saturday we had dinner guest so went all out for a change.

Pork wellington, bacon and cabbage croquettes and pea puree. I'd make a start of Asparagus and cheese tart but balls the pastry up so it didn't look every good.

(the misses new favorite plates are a bit lively!)

Yesterday we had Pork Gyros with fries and a bit of green.

Back on the salad for lunch frown
