Secretly, you want it. I know. You don't need to admit.

It would be the ideal snackette after a few beers. I'll certainly give you that. Needs a good dollop of ketchup though.

Mrs Miniman had a disappointing steak the other night at the local pub, so I sorted her out a nice slab of rib eye with some triple cooked chips and onion rings. And some vegetable stuff.

I got carried away at the fishmonger's today and bought some wild bass, red snapper and giant Argentinian prawns.

Did a risotto and wanted to use everything fresh so the plates are a bit busy but was tasty nevertheless.

Surf n Turf agin for me this evening, no lobster today, so had to settle for langoustines and some scallops. Unfortunately the latter had so much gravel in they needed a thorough wash although still tasted nice.

Served up with some Hereford fillet, carrots and some unfortunately over baked French fries from the oven.

Cider butt chicken, crushed roast new potatoes, leeks, carrots, cider gravy.

Sticky pork rashers marinated with Five Spice, Piri Piri, balsamic vinegar, white vinegar. Roasted at 250C for twenty minutes, then glazed with a mix of ketchup, smoke sauce, soy and honey and given a couple more minutes before resting.

Accompanied by Lime Rice with sliced, fried mushroom and toasted cashew nuts.

Yum. I recommend the pork rashers. Cheap as chips and absolutely delicious.

7 course tasting menu at Nobu last night, although was pissed so mostly forgot to photo it. Here's a lobster ceviche in Apple jelly with caviar. Also salmon tartare, and a caviar martini. The drink was not only horrifically expensive but pretty foul!

Rest of it was amazing though.

To make up for lack of dinner shots here is gratuitous brunch shot from today.

Roast. I always over do it, so went small this time.

Certainly was, also went to beautiful tapas place in soho and new 'vintage' blitz-inspired bar in a disused tube station nearby, where they served spam and crisp sandwiches as table snacks! Lots of earnest swing dancing going on but cocktails were great.
